Sports Massage

A sports massage is a general massage which targets specific regions of the body. It aims to reduce muscle tension, increase tissue elasticity and enhance circulation. Tightness within the muscles can limit your flexibility, increase pain and contribute to future injuries, so this type of massage is a perfect maintenance massage for anyone looking to achieve peak physical performance during activities.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage, is a type of massage which uses deep pressure. It combines slow strokes and noticeable finger pressure to get deep within the connective tissues. It will typically focus on any areas of discomfort and helps to break up scar tissue which can form following an injury which helps to reduce tension and tightness. It promotes healing by reducing inflammation and increasing blood flow. Deep tissue massage is recommended for anyone suffering from chronic pain.

Body Massage

A full body massage is a great way to make sure that your body is working in alignment. This type of massage helps you to stay on top of any imbalances within your body, whilst also helping to reduce your stress levels. A fully body massage typically includes: feet, legs, back, stomach, neck, shoulders, arms, hands face and scalp and involves manipulation of the superficial and deeper layers of muscle and connective tissues.

Thai Yoga Massage

Thai yoga massage (also known as Passive Yoga), is a full-body treatment that will leave you feeling stretched out, energised and re-aligned. Thai massage understands that all of the body's systems are intrinsically connected and reliant on one another. As the name suggests, this type of treatment is yoga based and typically takes place on a futon on the floor and incorporates passive yoga stretches. This type of massage is a fully clothed treatment with no oils involved. You will need to wear loose, comfortable clothing which will allow you to move and stretch freely.
